Trailer í The Preacher's Wife PDF by í Cheryl St. John Wonderful A real keeper This is a really good read one that grabs you from the first couple of pages and takes you to the end It is hard to put down This author creates amazing characters and plots that you just don t want the story to end.
This is a one I highly recommend and one you will enjoy.
Ms St John is one of those authors who can teach other people to be authors as she is just that good This is a historical story of pain, loss, loneliness, learning to see God s path for you by the circumstances and how to deal with them and becoming a new family with new hopes and dreams.
Get this one, you won t regret it.
I received this arc from the author without pressure to review I wanted to do one because it is such a rewarding read and this is my honest opinion.
There Was Nothing Remotely Romantic About Widowed Father Samuel Hart S Marriage Proposal Yet Josie Randolph Said Yes The Lord Had Finally Blessed The Lonely Widow With The Family She D Always Dreamed Of And She Was Deeply In Love With The Handsome Preacher, Whose High Ideals Inspired Everyone Surely During Their Long Journey Across The Western Plains To His New Post Her Husband Would Grow To Love HerEach Mile Brought Them Closer To Home, Yet Drove Them Further Apart Samuel Didn T Seem Ready To Open His Heart Again But Josie Was Determined To Be Not Just The Preacher S Wife, But Samuel S Wife This was an amazing book I just love reading Cheryl St.
John s books,I enjoy hearing about the everyday lives of people way back when I also took a lot away from this book, little reminders that help strengthen my faith and help me remember the important things o The two characters, Josie Sam were very likable struggled with believable problems inner turmoil I have read loved many of Cheryl s books and as always, she wraps them up with a sigh worthy ending o This is the first love inspired book I ve ever read I m not a Christian, so these typs of books don t appeal to me.
However, with that being said, I think Ms St John did a good job with the plot to the point I was able to forget at times it was a love inspired novel And also forget the fact that there are no love scenes in these types of books In fact, the most I saw in this book were a few kisses shared between the hero and heroine As I said though, the story was captivating enough that I didn t miss it very much.
This was on my bookshelf but I don t recall buying it anyway,a light and easy read for the beach I enjoy stories where people live out their Christian faith in a real way, and in this book, the characters go through a trauma, and then have to wrestle with not having answers, or wondering why God allowed it to happen yes, it s a love story but also goes deeper than that with tough family relationships, grief, loneliness, guilt, trauma, hurt and rejection.
It was a good story It reminded me of Hallmark movies You know how it is girl falls in love with a boy and waits as the boy falls in love with her and they live happily ever after It is nice to read one of these books every once in awhile.
This was a very touching, emotional, heartfelt read I really enjoyed it.

4 1 4 stars, considering the type of book it is short, quick read.
It has been three years since Josie s husband left her a widow The interim preacher, Samuel Hart, is newly widowed and has three young daughters Sam is on his way west and thinks it a good idea if he has a help mate and wife along Josie believes she deserves a family Sam proposes to Josie and they head to Colorado to a new life.
This is a very heartwarming read and not preachy or pushy in the least The characters Christian faith is interwoven nicely in the story and not shoved at the reader Plus, Josie has a few surprises for Sam.
I tagged this as one foot on the floor due to its not having any love scenes, or even subtle indications that this marriage had been consummated I knew this going in however, felt that there could have been at least an indication that the marriage was no longer in name o I adore a good marriage of convenience story and I think Cheryl St John did an exceptional job with this one When two people are thrown together for the benefit of each other and fall in love in the process is the sweetest romance in my mind I also love when a widow or widower get a second chance at love where it s least expected, as was the case of both Josie Sam So this one ticked a lot of boxes for me Wed for the welfare of his three young girls and for Josie to leave behind painful memories and an overbearing mother in law, these two set out for Colorado where God has led Sam to preach What they find along the way is much then they could have asked or prayed for I loved watching these five come together and form a loving family, though it was a journey to get t
